révérence - to bow or curtsy; the last dance of a class
In addition to playing instruments as a child, I grew up dancing ballet. For me, music and movement have always been tied to each other. When composing I am constantly thinking of music as movement : how the piece plays in the musicians’ bodies, what movements it might entice the listener to make, how the build and release of tension feels to your muscles, or how the stretching of time is like an outstretched limb.
