This duo for violin and violoncello is the second movement of three movement work for various forms of string ensembles.  It is written in a form of spatial notation in which the players place their notes based on proportions and the timing of the others’ parts.  It was recorded by ICE members Jennifer Curtis and Kivie Cahn-Lipman, through recording grant from The Walden School.  It has been performed by the Da Capo Chamber Players, and by student performers at the Bowdoin International Music Festival.

Premiere: mvt 3- Da Capo Chamber Players, Bard College, December 2007
